Kerry Chater
Canadian born Kerry Chater’s childhood was filled with hours spent at the piano playing for fun, and an extensive education in music composition, theory, arranging, and directing. Chater began his professional musical career in 1967 when he and friend, Gary Puckett, formed the pop-rock band, Gary Puckett and The Union Gap, and for the next four years Chater was the group’s bass player and arranger for the live performances. He also wrote for the group, and many of his songs can be heard on their albums. In 1970, Chater left the band to pursue a career in songwriting and expand his education into Musical Theater. For five years, Chater was one of a small group of students accepted for study by Lehman Engel, then considered the dean of the American Musical Theater. Chater and co-writer, Ellen Fitzhugh, created the musical comedy, “Freud’s Follies,” which was performed in Los Angeles, CA. In 1978, Chater teamed up with legendary Country songwriters Rory Bourke and Charlie Black to write, “I Know A Heartache When I See One,” and the Jennifer Warnes’ recording of that song climbed well into both the Pop and Country charts on it’s way to becoming the first of five BMI Million Broadcast Performance songs penned by Chater. In 1983, Chater collaborated with singer/songwriter Dickey Lee to write, “You’re The First Time I’ve Thought About Leaving,” which became a #1 single for Reba McEntire. Then, in 1984, Chater teamed up with Austin Roberts to write the song, “I.O.U.,“ for which they received a Grammy Nomination for Song Of The Year. The recording of that song won Lee Greenwood the Grammy for Best Performance by a Male Artist. “I.O.U.” has since gone on to be honored with BMI’s Two Million Broadcast Performances Award. George Strait jumped on the Chater ‘Song Wagon’ when he recorded, “You Look So Good In Love” and that song became a #1 Country hit, and a Three Million BMI Performances Award winner. (Recently, Jamie Foxx sang his own rendition of “You Look So Good In Love” for the nationally televised “All Star Salute To George Strait“ to celebrate George being named Artist of the Decade by the ACM.) In 1989 the group Alabama took Chater’s song, “If I Had You” to #1 status, giving Chater his fourth time at that cherished chart position. Many of Chater’s songs have produced significant chart activity, and he has songs on fifteen platinum and multi-platinum CDs, and twenty-five gold CDs. Chater has received sixteen BMI Performance Awards, CMA’s #1 Song Award, and ACM #1 Song Award, as well as other achievements. Kerry lives in Nashville with his wife and writing partner, Lynn Gillespie Chater. Together, they have written songs for Mindy McCready, Restless Heart, Highway 101, Anne Murray, Paul Brandt, and others, and two musicals which have been performed in Nashville, TN. Currently, their songs can be heard on bluegrass artist Donna Ulisse’s CDs, “Walk This Mountain Down,” “Holy Waters” and the soon to be released, “Easy Climb.” Also currently, the Chaters are writing their third musical, and producing CDs on three new Christian Gospel artists.

Wendell Ferguson
Toronto based Wendell Ferguson has long been a behind-the-scenes force in Canadian country music. Known for his comedic and clever lyrics including “Throw Another Fiddle on the Fire”, one would be hard pressed to find a better “guitar playing troubadour”. Having won the Canadian Country Music Association Award for Guitar Player of the Year 7 times, the CCMA organization retired Wendell from ever being nominated in that category again!. In 1994, 1995 and 1997, Wendell went on to other CCMA wins including Back Up Band of the Year with Coda the West and The Duane Steele Band.
Taking the stage of the 2005 CCMA Awards live show with Paul Brandt, the show was nominated for a Genie Award. Wendell has backed up and recorded with artists such as George Fox, Duane Steele, Shania Twain, Tommy Hunter, The Dixie Chicks, Gil Grand and countless others. Greg Wyard
Greg Wyard is a quadruple threat - a singer, a songwriter and a guitar and bass player - who has been doing all four from the age of 10. Since moving from his native England when he was 13, he has earned a reputation around Toronto as a solid solo performer, received a music degree from McGill University, and released two original CDs from which his songs "Something I made up" and "What are you trying to prove" both placed in the Standard Radio National songwriting competition. His collaboration with filmmaker Marc Morgenstern and lyricist Len Sussman for the song "What makes a man", gave him a Platinum award at Houston's World West in 2007.
Unapologetically melodic in his writing, Greg's songs can't escape the influences of the music that shaped him - The Beatles, Crowded House, Squeeze - and he loves to write pop songs that surprise you with intricate little guitar lines here or an unexpected key change there. A musical sponge claiming to know several hundred songs, he is well known for his stripped-down live solo renditions of cover songs usually only attempted by full bands – his acoustic version of Bohemian Rhapsody currently has 17,400 hits on YouTube! Lately, Greg has been making trips to Nashville and exploring his country side, and plans to debut a brand new country-flavoured song at this year's Tin Pan North. Work is underway on Greg's third CD - he cites multiple lyric rewrites as the reason for the delay - but it is definitely expected this year.\.

Karla Crawford
With her girl next door good looks and small town charm, it might be tempting to describe Karla Crawford as just another typical country girl who can sing. But that wouldn’t be entirely accurate. True, she was raised in small town Ontario (Midland), ran the gamut of yearly community talent contests at the local United church, which she entered even after losing her voice, and won after graduating public school. And always the extroverted entrepreneur, she did run the Karaoke at the local bar, but that would be a story you’ve heard before and Karla Crawford is anything but typical!
Karla feels that music is her calling and that her life has been a series of events aligning to reach this point, the release of her third album – Delicious Recipe. 8 out of 13 tracks on her new album are written or co-written by Karla herself, evidence of her late-blooming songwriting skills, stemming from earlier forays into poetry and songwriting. The overwhelming positive feedback to her original material on the resort circuit inspired the confidence to look inward for material for Delicious Recipe. The album is completed with the contribution of 3 songs penned by Nashville hit
songwriters.
Karla has shared the bright lights with Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Porter Wagoner, Lee Greenwood and Brad Paisley among others. A tall drink of water armed with pizazz and kinetic energy, Karla injects her performances with her infectious wit and an alpha personality.

Danny Sylvestre
As with most true singer/songwriters, nobody has ever accused Danny of choosing the path of least resistance. Whether centre stage, or centre ring, he can stand toe-to-toe with anyone. His presence is tangible. His voice - powerful! His music, a marriage of country and rock - a down home attitude meets a passionate, rebellious beat.
Born in Quebec, Canada, Danny was singing Blue Suede Shoes at age two. By seven, he was starring in school musicals. An ardent John Fogerty devotee, Danny was picking CCR tunes at eight and writing his own compositions by ten. Danny has been a mainstay of his local music scene for 14 years, performing in both rock and country venues. When he's not at a gig, or at a construction site, you might find him training for an upcoming boxing match. In 2005, Danny won a gold medal in the Quebec Silver Gloves Championship.
Danny released a single called Twenty Words in 2007 that contained three songs. One of the songs from Twenty Words, Wasting Time, was featured in the Contender Asia reality show, where Danny's youngest brother, Alain, was a contestant. A second song, Love TKO, was played in Las Vegas during Alain's North American professional debut. Danny's second venture into the world of professional recordings is Crossover Life. A mix of styles and content that reflect his dynamic life. "I've always loved to perform", says Danny, "but now I want to sing my own songs. Everyone has something to say, I just had a little trouble sharing it. Now, I'm comfortable enough to take the next step. It's time to walk out on the big stage."

Christine Tier
Christine Tier is a Toronto based singer songwriter, currently working on her second full length CD. "Missing", a song from her debut album, was a runner up in the American "Song of the Year" Competition in 2007.
Her style is rootsy with country, jazz and rock undertones. The songs are catchy but at times a bit twisted - many of her characters end up dead. Still, she is surprisingly funny..

Karl Widmeyer
Karl Widmeyer is a singer/songwriter from the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. He's titled his first professionally produced album, “"Don’t Stand Still." This first compilation features ten original songs that showcase his influences of Folk, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Country and Gospel.
Using metaphor, simile, satire, irony, alliteration, allusion, illusion, and delusion, Karl says a lot with a little -- about relationships, about the world, about personal growth, and about overcoming challenges. His writing can bring us to uncomfortable places, but we are glad for it nonetheless, and other times it brings to places that make us laugh, or make us think, "Yeah, there's a cool way to look at that."
