Moving to Nashville - Ins & Outs of U.S. visa process and living in the Music City

Tuesday April 10th 7:30 PM at the NOW Lounge

Have you ever thought of moving to Nashville to pursue your music?

The "Alien of Extraordinary Ability" visa will allow you to work as a freelance artist for up to 3 years in the United States.

NSAI member, Allison Lynn, has just completed a 10 month journey to earn her visa, and is now living in Nashville. She will speak about the process of getting the visa, and the steps you need to take in building your visa application.

Also attending will be Erica L. James, Allison's immigration lawyer, who will be ready to answer any legal questions about visas and immigration.

"In the beginning of my process, the hardest part was just finding reliable information," notes Allison. "It took me 10 months. I hope to take a few months off the process for other people."

Allison will also speak about living in Nashville - the ins and outs of the city, the benefits of being an NSAI member in Nashville, and the difference in visiting Music City versus becoming a 'local'.

This presentation is free for NSAI members and $10 for non-members
