A special thanks to everyone who came out to support the incredible Tin Pan North 2011 festival!

tpn2011_teaserThe 12th Annual Tin Pan North Festival in the GTA May 26th to May 28th, 2011 saw many amazing performances and fantastic crowds. It was without a doubt one of our best!

We had a lot of good media exposure this year with articles in the Toronto Star, Canadian Musician and NOW, along with major promotion on 820 CHAM and KX96 along with interviews on 820 CHAM and on “In The Country” (Dave Woods internet radio show) as well as a TV interview on Daytime on Rogers Cable.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see the shows. You’re helping to put our local songwriters on the map as well as see some of the best songwriters this world has to offer. Without you, there would be no festival. Thanks to all the industry guests for participating at Music Row North and special thanks to the Jeff & the folks at Trebas Institute. Dan & Shaun would like to especially thank the volunteer committee members who spent countless hours of time helping to put on this year’s festival.

Thanks to all the headliners for lending their talents to our annual show. You are an inspiration to us all. Thanks to all our NSAI songwriters whose talent shone through the festival. It shows the world the next wave of talented songwriters that are right here in our own backyard.

Thanks to our sponsors for donating their funds or services to run this year’s festival. They include Long & McQuade’s who provided us gift certificates for the raffles, Bamboo Marketing who designed our posters & programs, It’s All About Z Music for their sponsorship, Trebas Institute for the use of their facility for Music Row North, Ticketwindow for helping sell our tickets, 820 CHAM & KX96 for their radio promotion, and last but not least the SOCAN Foundation for funding our festival. If you’d like to share your experiences with us or have any pictures to share with us or have any comments about the festival, we’d love to hear from you.

Check back shortly for pictures and video from the event!
