With more than 100 chapters throughout the United States, Canada and other foreign countries, the NSAI maintains a strong focus on the professional development of aspiring songwriters.
Regional workshops represent an ongoing effort to help songwriters learn from top professional writers in and outside of Nashville . In addition, the regional workshops frequently benefit from the support of top music industry professionals living and working in the vicinity of a local workshop.
Workshops also use speaker CD's, videos, development exercises, and song critique sessions under the leadership of volunteer coordinators, who in turn receive ongoing training in Nashville to help them lead the workshop activities. These activities encompass musical and lyrical development as well as specific music business information you need to protect your interests.
The Toronto Regional Workshop meets every second Tuesday - click here for details
